History

P.P.U.H ELGÓR was established in 1989 in Chorzów. Elgór + Hansen has been used as the company’s name since 1994, when P.P.U.H Elgór and Hansen Projektgesellschaft Polen merged. Owing to the merger, the company got access to modern mining electro-technology, which combined with the firm’s experience and highly qualified personnel, became its driving force.

As a part of the international holding, Hansen Sicherheitstechnik AG, which includes companies from Germany, the Czech Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Africa, Elgór + Hansen co-creates a technological platform for diversified products. Since 2008 the company has been a part of „KOPEX” group of companies that represents the leading producers of the branch and ensures a complex completion of ventures, both on the domestic and the foreign market.

Currently over 130 experienced and highly qualified individuals have been employed by Elgór + Hansen, who having a modern technical back-up base, ensure a worldwide acknowledged quality of the offered products.
